The contentious Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, will be taken up for discussion and passage in Parliament on August 12 and will not be implemented retrospectively, Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma said after meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, even as the Centre continues to hold talks with Opposition on breaking the Parliament impasse and allowing proceedings to run to discuss key bills during the ongoing monsoon session.
