Seminar on Schemes for Capital Goods & Textile Engineering Sector held in Ludhiana
Ludhiana, 11 Dec (KNN) Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with with Ministry of Heavy Industries organised seminar on “Awareness on Schemes of Capital Goods Sector & Govt. Initiatives for the Development of Indian Textile Engineering.

N.D Mhatre, Director General (Tech.), ITAMMA briefed about schemes of Capital Goods Sector & good initiatives for the development of Indian textiles Engineering Industries.
Dr. Viney Midha, HOD, Department of Textile Technology, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar, spoke about the technology gap of textile industry.
Scientist Dr. Shiv Kumar Lohan, from PAU explained about the scope of development of farming Machinery.
Kamal Kulshreshtha, Head International Business, COLORJET highlighted the latest advancements being done in printing technologies.
Manjit Singh Matharoo, Gen. Secretary for Mega Machine Tool Cluster (FICO), pressed on the issues being faced by Machine Tool Industries.
The event was coordinated by S.B Singh, Joint Secretary, CICU and he assured ITAMMA that CICU will act as a nodal point to bridge gap between industry & Institute.
S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President & Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary CICU said, through implementation of Schemes of Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) the Indian Textile Engineering Industry will be benefited.
The program was attended by more than 50 prominent industrialists such as Sukhdial Singh from Rattan Hammer, Jaswant Singh Birdi, Satwant Singh, Ajmer Sachdeva, Yaspal Gosian, Kulwant Singh Sall, Sham Gupta and other senior member of the Chamber.
