Over 7 lac Companies incorporated under Make in India between 2014~2021
New Delhi, 15 Dec (KNN) As per a written reply by Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Rao Inderjit Singh in Rajya Sabha on Monday, there are 6,69,819 number of Companies having Active status out of the 7,30,013 new companies incorporated during the period from 25th September, 2014 to 31st March, 2021 under the Make in India initiative.
While companies incorporated from the time period between 1st April, 2021 to 1st December, 2021, 1,12,207 companies have an active status out of the 1,12,697 new companies registered.
He stated that the government’s top priority is to develop a robust manufacturing sector.
‘Make in India’ recognizes ‘ease of doing business’ as the single most important factor to promote entrepreneurship, the Minister added.
This initiative launched on 25th September 2014, a major national programme of the Government of India designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, build best in class infrastructure, and make India a hub for manufacturing, design, and innovation.
