Cabinet Minister Ashu donates Rs. 5 lakh to CICU to set up Center of Excellence for industry
Ludhiana, 4 Dec (KNN) The members of Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) along with office bearers of different industrial associations had an interaction with Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Cabinet Minister; Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mayor and Pradeep Kumar Sabharwal, Municipal Commissioner on Friday, said the media release .
Industrialists put forward and discussed the issues of Roads, Sewerage, maintenance of Parks etc.
The government officials decided to resolve all the issues in a time bound manner and instructions were given to the concerned officials regarding it.
Cabinet Minister Ashu made a donation of INR 5 lakh to CICU for making “Center of Excellence” for industry.
He said, “Parks would be ideally developed and handed over to the industry, while pending roads other than PSIEC like Dhandari Bridge, Jeewan Nagar to Dhandari bridge and other roads of Focal Point will be developed very shortly.”
A static compactors to take care of Garbage dumps will also be set up, added Ashu.
S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President highlighted the issues of the Focal Point industry infrastructure which are in a bad shape and requested the concern authorities to work on it and close this matter at the earliest.
He thanked all the dignitaries sitting on the dais and the members present in the meeting.
Other than other prominent member of CICU, Rahul Verma, Gaurav Sehgal, Sudarshan Gosain, Jeevan Singh, Anil Bedi, Smt. Mridula Jain, Vipan Mittal, Amarjit Singh, S.B Singh, Honey Sethi were the Presidents of the various associations present in the meeting.
