The new year brought new fortunes for SC East Bengal as they finally bagged their first win in the Indian Super League, brushing aside Odisha FC. But the onus will now be on them to show that the victory was not just a flash in the pan as they prepare to face FC Goa at the Tilak Maidan Stadium, Vasco on Wednesday.
Both sides are set to clash for the first time but they find themselves at opposite ends in the ISL table. SCEB are placed second from bottom while Goa have jumped to third after late comeback victories over Jamshedpur and Hyderabad.
